KK VisualArt’s ( Japanese 株式会社 ビ ジ ュ ア ル ア ー ツ , Kabushiki-gaisha Bijuaru Ātsu ) is a Japanese publisher founded in 1991 , which specializes in the publication of Ren'ai adventures for a large number of game developers. Most of these games are aimed at men.

Business areas

Game development

The company supports the game developers with game engines that they have created themselves , which represent the basic structure of the games. Well-known engines are the older AVG32 engine, RealLive engine and, since 2010 , Siglus engine. In addition, the company also takes on the sale and distribution of these games, from which it receives a proportion of the profits.

Kinetic Novel

The term Kinetic Novel ( キ ネ テ ィ ッ ク ノ ベ ル , Kinetikku Noberu ) was introduced by VisualArt's to describe an adventure game that gives the player no chance to influence the course of the game and thus continues the idea of a “digital novel” that is behind many Japanese adventure games . The first game in this series was Keys Planetarian - Chiisana Hoshi no Yume (planetarian ~ ち い さ な ほ し の ゆ め ~ ).

Partner brands

Well-known brands that work for VisualArt's include Key and Ram . The developers of Key became known through Kanon , Air and Clannad , among others .
