I've Sound , also known as I've ( Japanese ア イ ブ , Aibu ) for short , is a Japanese techno / trance music group based in Sapporo , Hokkaidō , Japan . It is directed by Kazuya Takase. Within the group talented musicians and various vocalists, who are referred to as Utahime ( 歌 姫 ) by their fans , are given the opportunity to produce and publish their own works. This formation was originally known through the creation of the title songs of many Japanese adventures or eroges . The formation later also increasingly produced the theme music for anime television series.

history

The group had been active since 1998, but did not yet have its current name. It was founded by the six former members of Takase Fight . At the time they were producing the music for Tsushin Karaoke and game developer based in Hokkaidō . They also produced two titles in the Dancemania series. These were If You Were Here by Jennifer and Is This The Way You Kill A Love by Gina. Both titles were found among other things, on the Dance Dance Revolution by Konami again.

Today's name I've , which is derived from the word Aibu ( 愛撫 , English "caress, tenderness"), which also refers to the roots within the eroge scene, appeared for the first time when she was involved in music the eroge lips: egao no yukue worked. Although the production of the game was discontinued in autumn 1998, this was the trigger for close contact with Visual Art’s , a publisher of computer games and software manufacturer. The first game whose music was officially produced by I've produced was Hakidame: Trash , which was released by Zero (a development team under Visual Art's) in February 1999. In the game, the titles Fuck Me and Utsukushiku Ikitai came from the group that was called I've Sound in the credits .

Formatting had its breakthrough with the popular Adventure Canon by Key , which was published in June 1999. For this they arranged the tracks Last regrets and Kaze no Tadoritsuku Basho, which were sung by Ayana . Both titles were later found in the 2002 and 2006 anime adaptations of the game. In December of the same year they released their first album called Regret .

In 2002 I've been hired to produce the music for the television series Onegai Teacher , which was also the first music production for an anime. In April 2004, Kotoko , one of the singers on Onegai Teacher , made her debut with the album Hane . She was followed by Mami Kawada with the single Radiance in February 2005 and Eiko Shimamiya with the album Uysses in April of the same year. The following also contributed Mell , CG mix and Kaori Utatsuki in their pieces.

The group gave their first live concert on October 15, 2005 at Nippon Budokan . Shortly before, they started their first Internet radio show, I've Talk Jam , which was hosted by SHIHO. The show's regular speakers were Kazuya Takase and Tomoyuki Nakazawa. The show consisted of nine episodes and ended shortly before the concert.

For the film Real Onigokko , Kotoko sang the theme music, which was also the first appearance in a real- life film.
