Vitamin D (disambiguation)
The group of D vitamins is a group of secosteroids . A distinction is made between the following substances from the vitamin D group:
- Vitamin D 1 : compound of ergocalciferol (D 2 ) and lumisterol , 1: 1
- Vitamin D 2 : calciferol, more precisely: ergocalciferol (synthesized from ergosterol )
- Vitamin D 3 : often simply referred to as vitamin D , see cholecalciferol
- Vitamin D 4 : 22,23-dihydroergocalciferol (saturated form of vitamin D 2 )
- Vitamin D 5 : Sitocalciferol (synthesized from 7-dehydrositosterol )
- Vitamin D 6 : (22E) - (24R) -ethyl-22,23-didehydrocalciol or (5Z, 7E, 22E) - (3S) -9,10-seco-5,7,10 (19), 22-stigmastatetraene -3-ol
- Vitamin D7: (5Z, 7E, 24R) - (3S) -9,10-seco-5,7,10 (19) -ergostatrien-3-ol
