history

The Volksbad Limmer was built as an open-air swimming pool in a disused gravel pit for the workers' sports club Free Watersports Hannover-Linden . A 100-meter pool and an extensive meadow area were created. In World War II it was partially destroyed and rebuilt in 1950. The bathroom has been in its current condition since renovations in 1975.
