People's Artist of Ukraine
People's Artist of Ukraine ( Ukrainian Народний артист України ) is an honorary title for honoring outstanding artists of Ukraine . It is awarded to artists who have made exceptional contributions to the performing arts ( theater , music and cinema ).
According to the Law on State Prizes of Ukraine, the honorary title of People's Artist of Ukraine can usually be awarded no earlier than ten years after the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine has been awarded.
Its recipients include many of the world's most popular composers, dancers, singers, film and theater directors, and actors.
