On the ground floor, reconstructions of traditional dwellings, the so-called tsiatoura, are shown. The Sarakachans are a nomadic people who lived in huts made of woven reeds or grass on their wanderings. The huts shown go back to the interwar period. The main source of income for the Sarakachans at that time was the production of cheese and clothing fabrics.

On the first floor, tools and Weber devices are shown, with which one can follow the entire manufacturing process from spinning to the finished textiles. In addition to clothing, special duvets, the so-called flokati, are also shown. The traditional costumes of the Sarakatschans are shown in further showcases.

Since 1998 the museum has offered a two-hour teaching program for elementary school students. The children learn how the Sarakachans wove, weave and live in the huts. The museum also houses a collection of historical photographs from all over Greece in the period from 1906 to 1950 and a collection of recordings of traditional songs and music.
