The elementary school 33 Dorfhalleschule is an elementary school in Linz .
Architecture and buildings
The school was built in 1954 by architects Franz Gary and Walther Ister . Elementary schools 33 and 34 are located in the building. The building is a three-story wing with side extensions. There is a colonnade on the ground floor. The side entrances have wide, cantilevered canopies. In the building there is a day care center with 5 groups, including an integration group, with 104 places. The building also houses the Volkshaus, a parent-mother counseling service and a branch of the youth welfare service.
Educational work, equipment and offers
The elementary school 33 Dorfhalleschule has one class of the pre-school level with 12 students and 10 classes of the 1st to 4th grade with 185 students (status: 2014/15).
The school is run as an all-day school .
In 2012 the school was awarded the special jury prize for the Austrian School Prize.
