Complete and timely delivery

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Complete and on-time delivery (VRL; on-time in-full [OTIF] or delivered in-full on-time [DIFOT]) is a parameter from supply chain management for delivery reliability . From a company's point of view, it indicates to what extent the supply chain is or was able to deliver the right goods to the customer in the right quantity at the right place and at the right time.

V value / R value

To calculate the parameter, a distinction must be made between the proportion of goods delivered in full (V value or IF value ) and the proportion of goods delivered on time (R value or OT value ). The V-value relates to whether the goods were actually delivered in full (i.e., for example, without including replacement goods or partial deliveries). The R-value is based on the promise made to the customer (for example "delivery on Wednesday" or "delivery between 11:30 and 12:00"); this is not necessarily the time when the customer expected the goods.

calculation

The key figure is calculated as follows: VRL (%) = number of complete and timely deliveries / number of total deliveries * 100
