Vomero is the 13th of the 30 districts ( Quartieri ) of the southern Italian port city of Naples . It is located directly west of the historic center ( Centro Storico ) and, from a socio-economic perspective, is one of the wealthy districts . The district is located on the Vomero hill of the same name.
Geography and demography
Vomero is 2.17 square kilometers and had 47,388 inhabitants in 2009.
