The von Vincke School is a school for blind and visually impaired students in the city of Soest in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is the only special school for the special focus on vision with a secondary school in North Rhine-Westphalia and was named after the Prussian politician and reformer Ludwig von Vincke .

The school offers the secondary school , secondary school and elementary school courses as well as courses in the additional focus on learning and intellectual development . The school's educational offer also includes early pedagogical support for children with visual impairments. As part of the inclusion, the school continues to support blind and visually impaired students in general schools. The school has a total of around 120 students. The headmaster is Andreas Liebald. Since March 11, 2009, the von Vincke School has had the seal of approval School without Racism - School with Courage .
Furnishing
The facility has a swimming pool, a sports hall and a football field with artificial turf. This soccer field was a donation from the DFB .
