Vytautas Sumakaris
Vytautas Šumakaris (born June 19, 1933 in Bučiūnai , Vilkaviškis Rajongemeinde , † 1999 in Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from high school, he graduated from the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija with a degree in mechanics in 1958 and became an engineer. In 1958 he worked as a foreman, head foreman, technologist, mining manager, from 1961 as a senior engineer, from 1967 to 1992 as general director in the agricultural machinery plant "Neris". From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .
From 1961 to 1989 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1989 of the LDDP .
He was married. With Mrs. Laima he had the children Dainius, Rita and Vytautė.
