Vytautas Leškevičius

Vytautas Leškevičius (born January 17, 1970 in Marijampolė ) is a Lithuanian diplomat, politician , and Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister.

After secondary school , Vytautas Leškevičius studied philosophy at Vilnius University from 1990 to 1995 . From 1996 to 2000 he was personal assistant to the Foreign Minister, from 2000 to 2004 first secretary in the Lithuanian embassy in Russia and from 2011 to 2012 political director in the foreign ministry. In 2013/2014 he was Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania . Afterwards Leškevičius was the Lithuanian ambassador to the Council of Europe . He has represented his country at NATO since 2015.

He is married and has two children.
