WALK & more is the youth magazine of the Deutsche Wanderjugend (DWJ). The association magazine appears four times a year with a circulation of 3,200 copies.
The magazine first appeared at the end of March 1999 as the successor to the long-standing youth leader magazine perpedes , which was first published in the early 1980s. WALK & more is aimed at youth leaders of the German hiking youth as well as young people interested in hiking and travel as well as young adults within and outside of the hiking clubs.
With WALK & more, the DWJ would like to promote joint youth travel and offer young readers great benefits. This should be done through experience reports, the introduction of inexpensive leisure and travel providers for young people, tips and tricks on inexpensive trips and advice on equipment and forms of travel.
