The Water & Power Development Authority Football Club , or WADPA FC for short , is a works association of the Pakistani Water & Power Authority . The club currently plays in the country's highest league, the Pakistan Premier League , and is the current national soccer champion. The club plays its home games in the Punjab Stadium. In 1983, the year it was founded, the club won its first championship. Since the turn of the millennium, the club has been one of the most successful in the country. WADPA FC has won five championships since 2001. In the 2007/08 season, the club set a new national record when the season could be finished undefeated. WADPA FC took part in the AFC President's Cup three times part, in 2009 the semi-finals reached.
