The WD-catalog (engl. W hite D threw catalog) is a star catalog of white dwarfs that of the Faculty of Astrophysics and Planetary Science of Villanova University is issued.

Cataloged stars

In its first edition, which was published in 1987, 1279 spectroscopically identified white dwarfs are listed. As of 2019, the catalog is in its seventh edition and contains entries for 14294 objects and 27975 individual observations.

Exoplanets

The WD catalog catalogs white dwarfs.

It is considered certain that there are exoplanets around white dwarfs . The planet WD 1145 + 017 b orbits the white dwarf WD 1145 + 017. It is torn apart by the gravity of its star.
