Wgil (as well known Galesburg Radio 14 ) is a US -American local radio stations from Galesburg in the US state of Illinois . The station transmits a News & Talk format. As a syndication, u. a. the shows Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck (both Premiere Networks ) and Sport acquired from Fox Sport Radio . The operator and owner is the Galesburg Broadcasting Company . WGIL -AM transmits on medium wave 1400 kHz and WGIL-FM simulcasted the signal on VHF 93.7 MHz.

The station went on air on June 12, 1938 with an inauguration ceremony from the Galesburg Armory.
