Coaching stations

Jorge worked as a trainer for the Guatemalan Club Comunicaciones and the traditional Argentine Racing Club . He then took over the youth department of Deportivo Toluca .

After his former teammate at Oaxtepec, Ricardo La Volpe , took over the Mexican national team shortly before the end of Apertura 2002 and his successor Wilson Graniolatti resigned after only six games, Alberto Jorge took over the Toluca first team, which had already qualified for the semi-finals, and led them through successes over Santos Laguna (5: 3, 2: 1) and Morelia (0: 1, 4: 1) to her seventh championship title .

In the 2009/10 season he coached the Guatemalan first division club CSD Xelajú Mario Camposeco .
