WIEM Encyklopedia ( full name Wielka Interaktywna Encyklopedia Multimedialna - Large Interactive Multimedia Encyclopedia) is an online Polish encyclopedia . The word 'wiem' also means I know in German .

The first printed edition appeared in the mid-1990s, the second in 1998 and contained over 66,000 entries and various multimedia add-ons. In 2000 this encyclopedia was published on the Internet by the Polish web portal Onet.pl on the basis of the Popularna Encyklopedia Powszechna and the Encyklopedia Multimedialna Powszechna (for example: General People's Edition and General Multimedia Encyclopedia ). From 2004 to March 2, 2006 this online lexicon was paid for, but has been free again since then. The ninth online edition appeared in 2006 and contained 125,000 entries.
