WSA World Tour
The WSA World Tour was the name given to the women's squash tournament series organized by the WSA players' association until 2014 , equivalent to the men's PSA World Tour . The season started in the first week of January and ended in mid-December. For victories at the events, the players were awarded points in the squash world rankings.
The tournaments differed in the number of world ranking points awarded. Accordingly, they can be divided into three categories in order of their value:
- the WSA World Series tournaments
- the tournaments in the WSA Gold and WSA Silver categories
- the tournaments in the WSA Tour category
The WSA World Series tournaments were divided into the categories Platinum and Gold . The WSA Gold category was not subdivided again, but WSA Silver was divided into two different subcategories: Silver 35 and 25 . The WSA Tour tournaments were only divided into three sub-categories: Tour 15, 10 and 5 .
The WSA World Series Finals , organized annually by the WSA, played a special role as the season's final tournament. In addition, the WSA hosted the annual world championships as patron .
