The 2018/19 PSA World Tour for women includes all squash tournaments of the 2018/19 women’s season of the PSA World Tour . It started on August 1st, 2018 and ended on July 31st, 2019. The overview sorted by month shows the location of the tournament, its name, the total prize money paid out and the winner of the tournament. In the final table all tournament winners are listed according to the number of their titles. It is irrelevant here which value the tournaments won by the player had, even if a corresponding recording is made.
The structure of the World Tour was significantly revised by the Professional Squash Association before the start of the season: the previous division into the categories Challenger, International and World Series was abolished. The lower-class tournaments were still Challenger tournaments, but their prize money now ranged up to 30,000 US dollars and no longer up to 15,000 US dollars as before. From then on they all formed the PSA Challenger Tour . The previous tournaments in the International category were divided into the categories PSA World Tour Bronze , PSA World Tour Silver and PSA World Tour Gold , the tournaments of the PSA World Series were now tournaments in the PSA World Tour Platinum category . The PSA World Series Finals have also been renamed PSA World Tour Finals . At the same time, there were no more qualifying rounds, the fields of participants in the main round were instead larger.
The 2018/19 season consisted of 68 confirmed tournaments. Their total prize money was $ 2,726,400.
