Macau Open 2019 (Squash)

The Macau Open 2019 took place in Macau from April 10-14, 2019 . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2018/19 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Bronze category . At the same time, a women's squash tournament of the 2018/19 PSA World Tour took place. It also belonged to the PSA World Tour Bronze category .

Last year's winners were Yip Tsz-Fung and Nouran Gohar . Yip was eliminated in the semifinals against the top seeded Diego Elías , who prevailed in the final against Omar Mosaad , who had already reached the final last year, with 11: 3, 11: 4 and 11: 9. In the women's finals, Annie Au , who was in first position, met Low Wee Wern in the final , who she defeated 11: 5, 13:11 and 11: 8.

The fields of participation in the men's and women's competition consisted of 24 players each. The eight best players were seeded and received a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Manuel Gassmann and Lau Tsz-Kwan in the men's and Liu Chi Kwai and Chan Sin-Yuk in the women a spot in the main draw.

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 54,400 each.
