Macau Open 2008 (Squash)

The Macau Open 2008 took place in Macau from November 25th to 30th, 2008 . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2008/09 and endowed with US $ 52,000.

The tournament took place for the first time since 2001. At the last event, Ong Beng Hee won, but he did not apply again this year. Grégory Gaultier started the tournament in top shape and won it without losing a set throughout the tournament. In the final he defeated Karim Darwish, who was seeded in second position, 11: 6, 11: 9 and 11: 5.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Armando Amante a spot in the main draw.
