Chris Ryder (born August 22, 1980 in Aylesbury ) is a former English squash player .

Career

Chris Ryder began his career on the PSA World Tour in 1999 and won six titles on it. He achieved his best position in the world rankings in October 2008 with rank 33. He was in the main field at the world championships in 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2012 . Except for once, he was always eliminated in the first round. In 2011 he defeated Olli Tuominen in four sets in the first round and thus reached the second round. In this he was clearly defeated by Cameron Pilley in three sentences. He ended his career in December 2013.
