Sarah Cardwell (born October 10, 1991 in Melbourne ) is an Australian squash player .

Career

Sarah Cardwell began her career in 2008 and has so far won three titles on the PSA World Tour . She reached her highest place in the world rankings in February 2017 with rank 41. With the Australian national team she took part in the World Cup in 2012 , 2014 and 2018 . At the Commonwealth Games 2014 , she was eliminated in the individual competition in the first round against Samantha Cornett . In 2019 , she became vice world champion in doubles with Jessica Turnbull .

Her mother Vicki Cardwell was also a squash player and became world champion in 1983 . Her brother Josh was also a professional squash player.
