World Women's Squash Championship 1983
The third Squash World Cup Women ( English 1983 Women's World Open Squash Championship ) was held in October 1983 in Perth , Australia , instead. Immediately afterwards, the World Team Championship took place at the same location .
As in 1981 , Rhonda Thorne and Vicki Cardwell met in the final . The defending champion Thorne had no chance this year, Cardwell won the game clearly with 9: 1, 9: 3 and 9: 4.
