World Women's Squash Championship 2000

The 16th Women's Squash World Championship took place from November 12th to 19th, 2000 in Edinburgh , Scotland . The total prize pool was $ 80,000.

The defending champion was Cassie Campion , but she did not run this year. Carol Owens defeated Leilani Joyce 9: 6, 9: 5, 7: 9, 5: 9 and 9: 6 in the final . She won her first world title with it.
