Fiona Geaves (born December 6, 1967 in Gloucester ) is a former English squash player .

Career

Fiona Geaves was active on the WSA World Tour from 1987 to 2006 and won six titles in a total of 14 finals. She achieved her best position in the world rankings with fifth place in September 2001. From 1993 until the end of her career, she was consistently listed in the top 20 of the world rankings. In 1995 she became British champion. She was twice in the semi-finals of the British Open and twice at world championships . With the English national team she was six times European champion .

At the Commonwealth Games Fiona Geaves could win two medals. She won her first medal in doubles in 2002 when she won bronze with Linda Charman . In mixed she received another bronze medal together with Chris Walker after losing in the semi-finals.

She ended her career in September 2006. In 2009 she became national coach in the English Association.
