Vicky Botwright (born June 18, 1977 in Manchester ) is a former English squash player .

Career

In 1997, Vicky Botwright made her tour debut. In her career, she reached fifth place in the world rankings in December 2005 and won a total of four titles on the WSA World Tour . Her greatest successes include reaching the finals at the 2008 World Cup in her hometown of Manchester, which was followed by a 3-1 defeat by Nicol David , and the 2006 world championship with the English national team . With this she also won five titles at European championships . At the 2006 Commonwealth Games she won a silver medal in doubles with Tania Bailey and a bronze medal in mixed with James Willstrop . In October 2008 she ended her professional career.

Private

Vicky Botwright is married to former Australian squash player Stewart Boswell . The couple have a son and a daughter. Her sister Rebecca Botwright was also active as a squash player.
