Pamela Nimmo (born August 23, 1977 in Edinburgh ) is a former Scottish squash player .

Career

Pamela Nimmo began her professional career in 1998 on the WSA World Tour and won two titles in a total of six finals. She achieved her best position in the world rankings with rank 14 in October 2002.

With the Scottish national team she took part in the World Cup in 1996 , 1998 , 2000 and 2002 . In 2002 she was with the national team after a final defeat against England Vice European Champion . She also represented Scotland at the 1999 WSF World Cup , where she reached the final with John White and Martin Heath . In this they were subject to England without a game win. She was also part of the Scottish squad at the 2002 Commonwealth Games . In the singles she failed in the round of 16, in the mixed she did not get beyond the group stage with Martin Heath.

Between 1998 and 2006 Pamela Nimmo was nine times in a row in the main field of the individual world championships. In 2000 and 2001 she reached the round of 16. At the European Championships in 2005 she reached the semifinals, in which she was subject to Linda Elriani in three sets. Between 1998 and 2005 she was a total of four Scottish champions.

After the 2006 World Cup , she ended her career.
