2014 Women's World Squash Championship

The 30th Women's Squash World Championship took place December 12-19 , 2014 at the Wadi Degla Sporting Club in Cairo , Egypt . It was the most highly endowed tournament of the WSA World Tour 2014/15 with a total prize money of 150,000 US dollars.

The defending champion was Laura Massaro , who defeated Nour El Sherbini in five sets last year . Massaro was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Alison Waters that year . World number one Nicol David and Raneem El Weleily met in the final . David won the game with 5:11, 11: 8, 7:11, 14:12 and 11: 5 and thus her eighth world title. For El Weleily it was the first final participation in a world championship.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of whom were qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Mayar Hany a spot in the main draw.
