Nour El Tayeb (born March 8, 1993 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian squash player .

Career

Nour El Tayeb was in Boston in 2011 against Nour El Sherbini Junior World Champion after failing in the final in the two previous years. In 2009 she was still defeated by El Sherbini, and the following year by Amanda Sobhy , against both of them in four sets. She has been a professional player on the PSA World Tour since 2007 and has won ten titles so far. She achieved her best placement in the world rankings in February 2018 with third place. With the Egyptian national team, she became world champion in 2012 and 2018 . In singles, she reached the final of the World Cup in 2018/19 , in which she was defeated by Nour El Sherbini in four sets. In 2013, 2016, 2018 and 2019 she became the Egyptian national champion.

She has been married to squash player Ali Farag since June 28, 2016 .
