Stephanie Brind (born June 8, 1977 in Bexleyheath ) is a former English squash player .

Career

Stephanie Brind was active on the WSA World Tour from 1995 to 2005 and won a title in a total of eight finals. She achieved her best position in the world rankings with fourth place in November 2001.

With the English national team , she won four titles at European Championships from 1999 to 2002 . At World Championships she won the title with England in 2000 after beating Australia 2-1 in the final. Brind won her final game against Robyn Cooper in four straight sets. In 2002 she was with the team again in the final, which this time Australia won 2-1. Brind lost to Natalie Grinham in four sets.

Between 1998 and 2004 Stephanie Brind was seven times in a row in the main field of the individual world championships. Her best performance was the quarter-finals in 1998 , 2000 and 2001 . She took part in the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and reached the quarterfinals in singles and doubles.
