Robyn Cooper (born January 16, 1972 in Brisbane ) is a former Australian squash player .
Career
Robyn Cooper played on the WSA World Tour from 1989 . She reached her highest position in the world rankings with twelfth place in September 1996. In 1990 and from 1994 to 1997 she was in the main draw of a world championship five times in individual singles . Her best result was reaching the round of 16 in 1997. In 2006 she became vice world champion in doubles alongside Sarah Fitz-Gerald . They were defeated by Shelley Kitchen and Tamsyn Leevey .
She played at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and 2002 . In women's doubles in 1998, she failed with Rachael Grinham in the final against Sue Wright and Cassie Jackman and won silver. In 2002 she won the bronze medal in mixed with Joseph Kneipp . With the Australian national team , she took part in the World Cup in 2000 and 2002 . In 2000 she was first runner-up, before winning the title two years later.
