Sivasangari Subramaniam (born January 24, 1999 in Sungai Petani ) is a Malaysian squash player .

Career

Sivasangari Subramaniam began her professional career in 2017 and has so far won eleven titles on the PSA World Tour . She reached her highest place in the world rankings with rank 32 in December 2019. With the Malaysian national team , she took part in the world championships in 2016 and 2018 . At the Asian Championships she was part of the Malaysian squad for the first time in 2016 and was immediately Asian champion. At the 2018 Asian Games , she won the individual silver medal behind Nicol David and the bronze medal with the team . In 2018 she became the youngest player to date to become the Malaysian national champion.
