The Black Ball Squash Open 2019 took place from March 11th to 15th, 2019 in the Egyptian capital Cairo . The women's squash tournament, which was held for the first time, was part of the women's PSA World Tour 2018/19 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Gold category .
In the final between the two top seeded players, Raneem El Weleily and Nour El Sherbini , El Weleily prevailed against El Sherbini with 9:11, 11: 2, 6:11, 11: 1 and 11: 5.
The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 24 players. The eight best players were seeded and received a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Salma Youssef a spot in the main draw.
At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 107,000.
