Hania El Hammamy (born September 1, 2000 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian squash player .

Career

Hania El Hammamy celebrated her first great success in the junior division in 2016 when she reached the finals at the World Championships in Tauranga . She lost the final against Rowan Elaraby in three sets. The following year she was defeated by Elaraby again in the final, but ultimately secured the title in 2019 with a win against Jana Shiha . She has been active on the PSA World Tour since 2014 and has won five titles so far. She achieved her best placement in the world rankings with sixth place in July 2020.

Her brother Karim El Hammamy is also a squash player.
