DPD Open 2019

The DPD Open 2019 took place from April 9 to 14, 2019 in Eindhoven , the Netherlands . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2018/19 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Gold category . At the same time, a women's squash tournament of the 2018/19 PSA World Tour took place. It also belonged to the PSA World Tour Gold category .

In both competitions there was a final between the two top seeded players. In the men's race, Ali Farag won 11:13, 11: 6, 11: 4 and 11: 4 against Mohamed Elshorbagy , while in the women's race, Raneem El Weleily beat Nour El Sherbini 10:12, 9:11, 11: 8 , 11: 8 and 11: 8 prevailed.

The fields of participation in the men's and women's competition consisted of 24 players each. The eight best players were seeded and received a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Roshan Bharos and Tessa ter Sluis each a spot in the main draw.

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 106,000 each.
