Carol Weymuller Open 2018

The 2018 Carol Weymuller Open took place in Brooklyn , New York City , in the United States from October 17-22 , 2018 . The women's squash tournament was part of the women's PSA World Tour 2018/19 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Bronze category .

Last year's winner was Nour El Sherbini , who did not run again. In the final between the two top seeded players, Nour El Tayeb prevailed against Sarah-Jane Perry with 11: 8, 10:12, 11: 6 and 11: 8.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 24 players. The eight best players were seeded and received a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Nicole Bunyan a spot in the main draw.
