Carol Weymuller Open 2013

The 2013 Carol Weymuller Open took place October 3-6 , 2013 in Brooklyn , New York City , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the Gold 50 category .

The defending champion was Laura Massaro , who lost 3-0 to Camille Serme in this year's semi-final . The winner was world number one Nicol David , who defeated Camille Serme in the final with 12:10, 11: 2 and 11: 5. Nicol David won her second title after 2005.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. A wildcard was not awarded.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 50,000.
