Texas Open 2014

The 2014 Texas Open took place from April 8-13, 2014 in Houston , Texas , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the Gold 50 category .

The defending champion was Madeline Perry , who lost to Dipika Pallikal in the semi-finals . In the final, Nour El Sherbini won against Dipika Pallikal 11: 7, 5:11, 11: 7 and 11: 8

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. A wildcard was not awarded.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 50,000.
