Texas Open 2004

The Texas Open 2004 took place from March 30 to April 4, 2004 in Houston , Texas , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2003/04 and belonged to the WSA Gold 35 category . The prize money was $ 42,500.

Last year's winner was Carol Owens , who had ended her career at the beginning of the year and therefore did not start again. In the final of the two top seeded players, Rachael Grinham beat Cassie Jackman with 9: 5, 9: 5 and 9: 5.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
