Texas Open 2011

The 2011 Texas Open took place from April 12th to 17th, 2011 in Dallas , Texas , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2010/11 and belonged to the WSA Silver 30 category . The prize money was $ 40,000.

In the final of the two top seeded players, Rachael Grinham prevailed against Kasey Brown with 11: 5, 10:12, 12:10 and 11: 7. It was Grinham's 31st title on the World Tour. Last year's winner Joelle King was eliminated in the semifinals against Kasey Brown.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
