Kasey Brown (born August 1, 1985 in Taree ) is a former Australian squash player .

Career

Kasey Brown played on the WSA World Tour from 2002 to 2014 and won eleven titles during that time. She reached her highest place in the world rankings with fifth place in December 2011. Her greatest success so far was winning the World Cup in Palmerston North , New Zealand , when she defeated England together with the Australian national team in the final . From 2005 to 2013 she took part in a total of nine world championships. Her best results were reaching the quarter-finals in 2010 and 2011 . She won the Australian national championship three times in a row from 2006 to 2008 .

At the 2010 Commonwealth Games , she won a medal in all three disciplines in which she competed. In the individual competition she won the bronze medal after Alison Waters did not play for third place due to injury. She also secured bronze in doubles with Donna Urquhart . Kasey Brown was even more successful in the mixed competition, where she won the gold medal together with Cameron Pilley . They defeated the New Zealand duo Martin Knight and Joelle King in three sets in the final . In 2014 she won the bronze medal in mixed with Cameron Pilley.

In October 2014 she ended her career after the US Open .
