Martin Knight (born December 28, 1983 in Wellington ) is a former New Zealand squash player .

Career

Martin Knight began his career in 2003 and won ten titles on the PSA World Tour . He achieved his best placement in the world rankings with rank 38 in March 2010. At the Commonwealth Games 2010 , he won the silver medal in mixed alongside Joelle King . In the final they were defeated by the Australians Cameron Pilley and Kasey Brown . Martin Knight was also New Zealand national champion in 2011, 2013 and 2014 . With the New Zealand national team he competed in 2005 , 2007 , 2009 , 2011 and 2013participated in world championships. In 2017 he ended his career and became the coach of the Colombian national squash team .
