Breathless is a Spanish thrash metal band from Palma that was founded in 1999.

history

The band was founded in 1999 by friends Eduardo Moreno (electric guitar, vocals) and Joan Font (drums). Then work began on the first songs. Eddy joined the line-up as bass player and completed the line-up for the time being. A little later, however, he left the line-up, so the band was just a duo. There followed performances that were purely instrumental. In 2001 Paco "Max" was added as the second guitarist and Javier Martí took over the bass. Shortly afterwards Max left the band and Martí also left the band in 2003. Then guitarist Víctor Arco and bassist Alex joined the group. The band then continued to work on songs. After another year off, a self-titled EP was released in 2007. More concerts followed, with 200 copies of the EP sold. In early 2008, Arco left the band while the rest of the cast worked on new songs. Shortly thereafter, Alex was replaced by the returning Javier Martí. Óscar Maestre joined the team as the new guitarist. In the following year and a half, the band rehearsed new songs until the band went to the Urban Studio in December 2009 with sound engineers Rafa Rigo and Toni Toledo to record their debut album Thrashumancy . The recording work lasted about a month. At the beginning of 2010, Javier Martí contacted Dave Rotten ( Avulsed ) and thereby achieved a contract with Xtreem Music . The album was released in 2011.

style

The band plays classic Thrash Metal, with the songs mostly being directed by the electric guitars.
