Avulsed is a Spanish death metal band.
history
The band was formed in August 1991, since then several albums and has split - EPs released and concerts by bands such as Napalm Death , Nile or Six Feet Under playing. They became famous outside of Spain in 1999 with their album Stabwound Orgasm . The group also has videos, including a. of their live performances.
Bandleader Dave Rotten is considered a special scene size in Spain, because he u. a. has also directed various Death Metal labels (Drowned Productions, Repulse Records , Xtreem Music ).
style
Avulsed is characterized by its constancy and technically demanding songs. Stylistically, Avulsed combine set pieces from Swedish and American Death Metal , almost entirely composed in a very brutal and uncompromising way. The lyrics mostly revolve around topics typical of the genre such as death and violence , sometimes presented in a rather self-deprecating way.
