HKFC International 2014

The HKFC International 2014 took place from 19 to 24 May 2014 in Hong Kong instead. The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the International 25 category . The women's tournament, which was officially called HKFC WSA 25 2014 , was part of the WSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the Silver 25 category .

The defending champion was Alister Walker for the men, who lost to Leo Au in the quarter-finals . The winner was Max Lee , who defeated Ong Beng Hee in the final 11: 3, 10:12, 8:11, 11: 5 and 11: 6. The women's competition was held for the first time and won by Amanda Sobhy . She defeated Rachael Grinham in the final 11: 6, 11: 2 and 11: 9.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. In the women's competition there are 16 players, four of which are starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Shaun Le Roux in the men's and Carmen Lee a spot in the main draw in the women each.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000 each.
