HKFC PSA International Squash Open 2019

The HKFC PSA International Squash Open 2019 took place in Hong Kong from September 10-14 , 2019 . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2019/20 and belonged to the PSA Challenger Tour 30 category . At the same time, a women's squash tournament of the 2019/20 PSA World Tour took place. It also belonged to the PSA Challenger Tour 30 category .

Last year's winners were Max Lee for the men and Annie Au for the women. While Lee was eliminated in the second round, Au defended her title with a final victory over Nada Abbas , who she defeated with 11: 8, 12:10 and 11: 4. Greg Lobban secured the men's title, winning the final against Yip Tsz-Fung 11: 8, 11: 6 and 11: 5.

The fields of participation in the men's and women's competition consisted of 24 players each. The eight best players were seeded and received a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Matthew Lai and Tang Ming-Hong in the men's and Cheng Nga Ching and Chan Sin-Yuk in the women each a spot in the main draw.

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 30,000 each.
