Carol Weymuller Open 2007

The Carol Weymuller US Open 2007 took place from November 27th to December 2nd, 2007 in Brooklyn , New York City , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2007/08 and belonged to the WSA Gold 35 category . It acted as both the Carol Weymuller Open and the US Open . The prize pool was $ 42,450.

Last year's winner was Rachael Grinham , who did not participate again. The final won the top seeded Natalie Grainger against the fifth seed Jenny Duncalf with 9: 3, 9: 4 and 9: 6. It was Grainger's 16th title win on the World Tour.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
