Carol Weymuller US Open 2009

The Carol Weymuller US Open 2009 took place from November 3rd to 8th, 2009 in Brooklyn , New York City , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2009/10 and belonged to the WSA Silver 30 category . It acted as both the Carol Weymuller Open and the US Open . The prize pool was $ 42,450.

Last year's winner was Natalie Grainger , who did not take part again. In the final, Jenny Duncalf defeated her compatriot Alison Waters 11: 7, 11: 9, 6:11 and 11: 9. It was Duncalf's sixth title win on the World Tour.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
